Tangible Tactics is a one-person consulting practice run by Aric Asplund in West Des Moines, Iowa. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what I do with it. Short version: I use what you send me to reply to you, I don’t sell it, and you can ask me to delete it.

What I collect

When you fill out the contact form: your name, email, phone number, company, the topic you pick and your message. Submissions are stored in this website and sent to me by email.

When you book a call: the booking page runs on Google Calendar. Google collects your name, email and the time you pick under Google’s privacy policy, and I get the calendar invite.

When you browse the site: I use Google Analytics to see which pages get visited and how people find the site. It uses cookies and collects things like pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. I don’t use it to identify you personally, and I don’t run advertising or retargeting pixels.

How I use it

I don’t sell, rent or trade your information. I don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.

Who else touches it

Only the services that run the site and my business: my web host, Google (Analytics, Calendar and email), and the WordPress plugins that power the contact form. Each handles data under its own privacy terms. I’ll also share information if the law requires it.

How long I keep it

Contact form messages and related emails are kept for up to 24 months after our last conversation, then deleted. If you become a client, project records are kept as long as needed for the work and for tax and accounting purposes. Google Analytics data is kept for 2 months.

Your choices

Children

This site is for businesses. It isn’t directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, I’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
